Projects

I have been extremely lucky to have had the opportunity to intern for some fabulous companies in my years of undergraduate. On this page you will find examples of my work, which mainly focus on Social Media Marketing.

Society Bride: Since February 2012 I have been in charge of SocietyBride.com‘s social media marketing plan. At Society Bride, “you’ll find a daily dose of awe-inspiring wedding essentials and an incredible community of artists, services providers and venues. Here you will discover beautiful real weddings, hot-off-the-runway fashion, bridal beauty must-haves, style-savvy tips and tricks and expert advise from top-notch wedding pros.” My duties as a social media associate included daily Twitter and Facebook updates. I also manage the Pinterest account, and create pinboards that coordinate with the daily blog posts. Through my experience at Society Bride I have gained invaluable experience on how to create, implement and maintain a social media marketing plan. Check out the links above to see my work!

College Fashionista: Since May 2012 I have been a Style Guru at CollegeFashionista.com for Southern Methodist University. “Style Gurus have been hand-selected to capture unique fashion movements and deliver trends as they are developing around your campus.  They possess a keen eye for the next big craze in all realms of the fashion industry.  As students themselves, they are attuned to the role fashion plays in a student’s life and they are committed to reporting on trends that are relevant and applicable to you, the at home (or dorm) reader. As a Style Guru, it is their task to capture photos of students around your campus who earn the title of a ‘Fashionista/o’.” My personal duties as a Style Guru include weekly ALL ABOUT BEAUTY blog posts. For the blog posts on top of creating written content, I am required to take original photographs of my subject, tag relevant themes and link to other online content that coordinates with the post theme. I also create weekly Twitter (example) and Facebook  promotions as well as Pinterest boards (example) to coordinate with my blog posts. Also, I attend webinars hosted by College Fashionista as well as monthly Fashion Talks with fashion industry professionals and other Style Gurus.
