As a Texas girl I can never have enough denim in my closet. A few years ago I purchased a denim strapless mini dress (similar here) from 7 for all Mankind, and have worn it to concerts, football games and nights out on the town. While, this dress is no longer for sale I wanted to find some other denim dresses that can also be Dressed Up and Dressed Down.
The simple razor back dress featured is a great blank canvas. To Dress it Down I added a pair of suede booties (which are currently a hot hot trend) and an edgy Alexander McQueen skull scarf to carry the dress through the Fall season. A classic pair of over-sized sunnies and a versatile brown satchel are staple pieces that every girl should have in her closet. For a bit of bling a hammered pair of hoops and a wrap around watch pull the outfit together.
To Dress it Up I went with a chic black theme. A sick pair of suede Louboutin pumps and a reasonably priced leather jacket from Topshop instantly cover up the casual vibe of the dress. My most recent designer crush, Charlotte Olympia (see here) made this fantastic leopard print clutch, which kicked the look up a notch. Lastly, a set of fringe earrings bring the attention to that pretty face of yours!
